It Takes a Village

I have always been inspired by the saying, "It Takes a Village." When I began my journey as a young cardiologist in 2003, I realized one thing very early on: that as a specialist, I would have to assemble a team in order to provide the very best care for each of my patients. From the start, I knew that I didn't just want to simply prescribe people blood pressure and cholesterol medications and send patients on their way. So, when I started North Coast Cardiology in 2007, I made it my life's goal to bring together not just a team of medical experts, but a community of supporters -- true cheerleaders for my patients.Who are these cheerleaders, you ask? Cheerleaders for wellness are the people who will support you and prop you up no matter what. They are there for you when you need kind words or a hug, and make you feel strong and happy; in short -- they help you feel your best self. They are our families, friends, caretakers, spiritual guides, and of course, our doctors and nurses.Now, after over 15 years of practicing cardiology right here in Encinitas, I am incredibly proud to introduce Wave Wellness to our community. I see our team as your cheerleaders. Wave Wellness isn't just another clinic -- it is a Village that will stand beside you and your family for the years to come. We've brought together a remarkable group of intelligent, compassionate, friendly and perhaps most importantly, kind-hearted people to help you become your healthiest, happiest self.Whether you are focused on preventing a chronic condition such as diabetes, coronary heart disease or cancer, or seeking treatment for an illness that has already affected you or your loved one, we will be here for you in the years to come, just as North Coast Cardiology has been for the last 17+ years.
